I am a Ph.D. student with a keen interest in the diversity, ecology, physiology, and biochemistry of microorganisms within aquatic environments.
I am particularly enthusiastic about microbial auxotrophies and the dependencies they create on specific metabolites such as amino acids and vitamins. Through the analysis of metagenomic data, I aim to explore the various ecological interactions implicated in these dependencies. My work is guided by a commitment to understanding the relevance of microbes in these ecosystems and applying this knowledge to advance biotechnological solutions for a sustainable society.
