Anis Hosseini

My scientific path began with a Bachelor’s degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Damghan in Iran, where I developed a strong foundation in molecular research. In October 2023, I moved to Germany to continue my academic journey in the Master’s program in Microbiology at Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, specializing in marine microbiology. Alongside my studies, I discovered a deep interest in bioinformatics, which led me to join the MIINT Lab, where I am currently working on a metagenomics research project. What fascinates me most is the unseen microbial diversity of oceans and the intricate ways microbes communicate and interact. I believe that by better understanding these hidden networks, we can uncover solutions to pressing environmental challenges and contribute to preserving marine ecosystems.
